Two people sit at a table covered with art materials, including coloured markers, pens, scissors and glue. Both are working on illustrated paper designs, adding details and colour to architectural-style drawings. The table is filled with creative supplies and works in progress, suggesting a collaborative arts and crafts or design workshop.

Beacons of Light invites visitors to build sculptural beacons using reclaimed tactile materials and light sources. Participants can experiment, stack, build and play, creating beacons that represent hope for the future.

The collective making will come together as one large installation, bringing together different voices, ideas and perspectives. A separate making table will invite participants to create stencils using words, symbols, patterns and drawings inspired by hope, kindness, belonging, imagination and nature. Simple prompt cards will spark ideas, which can then be projected onto the surrounding walls and sculptural beacons using light sources throughout the space.
